Some of the certification courses we run require assessment. These may be conducted with Prometric. It varies with the certification programme and the supporting organisation. Some exams are also handled by the certifying body directly via online examinations taken from their website.

The certification course run by the Open Group is assessed via Prometric centres worlwide. Prometric is a global provider of comprehensive testing and assessment services.

Taking the assessment at a Prometric Centre

• One voucher may be applied towards one exam, delivered at an Authorized
  Prometric Testing Center (APTC).
• In some cases, the vouchers that are given to you are programme specific or even exam specific. Please ensure that you have redeemed the voucher for the correct exam.
• These vouchers are not transferable between programmes.
• Candidates must register for and take their examination prior to the expiration
  date provided with the vouchers.
• Voucher expiration dates cannot be extended under any circumstances.
• Prometric, Authorized Prometric Testing Centers, the certifying organisation and Flipside are not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers or voucher numbers.
• Vouchers may not be redeemed for cash or credit, or returned for a refund.
• Vouchers may not be applied to exams that have already been taken.

To redeem a voucher:

1. To register for an exam, visit the Prometric website
2. The voucher number must be provided when registering for the exam.
3. To speak with a Customer Service Representative, please contact the
appropriate Prometric Regional Center for your area. View the complete listing of

To redeem a voucher for the TOGAF exam

1. When you visit the Prometric website, you will be asked to select your country.
2. Then select 'Open Group'.
3. Then select exam type. If you are taking the full exam, this is the TOGAF 9 Combined Part1 and 2.
4. Select the location to sit your exam.Click on 'schedule appointment'.
5. You will then be asked to set up a new user account or login. Once you do this, you can schedule your exam date and time.
6. After this, you will be brought to the payment screen where you can enter the Promotion Code/Voucher Number in the space provided.
7. Enter your Voucher ID and finalise your exam appointment.
8. The voucher is generally valid for a period of 12 months from date of issue but see your voucher for specific terms.
