Sushil's Background
Sushil
has been providing consulting and training services in Europe and
the South East Asian over the last 10 years. His primary areas of
engagement are in Business Governance of IT and Enterprise Architecture
for Business Transformation. Sushil
is the sole author of the 2010 CGEIT Review Manual – the official
review manual for the CGEIT exam preparation, from ISACA. At 275
pages in length, it is only available for purchase from the ISACA
bookstore .
The
CGEIT job practice specifies job practices and within this, knowledge
statements. Job practices are what a professional in this space
can expect to be doing, while knowledge statements are what that
professional is expected to know. There are a total of 78 knowledge
statements. Both the Review Manual and the Bootcamp which have been
authored/developed by Sushil cover all these knowledge statements.
Sushil
has delivered the CGEIT bootcamp for 3 years running now at the
Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (the Business
School and part of ULB, the oldest university in Belgium).
The
Bootcamp runs every year and has now been extended to the Middle
East. Condensed versions of the Bootcamp have also been run as workshops
for the European Commission and for ISACA.
At
the forefront of developments in the Governance of IT, Sushil is
a member of the global expert development team of COBIT, the de
facto IT Governance control framework from the IT Governance Institute
(ITGI) and its related Value Management framework, Val IT.
Sushil is an accredited trainer in IT Governance (by the ITGI) and
is adjunct lecturer at the Solvay Brussels School of Busienss and
Economics for its Executive Masters in IT Governance programme.
Sushil
is a subject matter expert member of the ISO workgroup on IT Governance
which recently published the first worldwide standard in this area.
Among his affiliations, Sushil is partner of ICTControl in Brussels.
In this consortium of specialists. he is responsible for the Value
Governance and Enterprise Architecture practice area.
Sushil
is a member of the Global Enterprise Architecture Organisation (GEAO)
and holds a Masters degree in Business Management. Sushil also possesses
professional certification in Enterprise Architecture and Managing
Information Technology from the US.
