Many
companies are either thinking about becoming more agile or are already
well on their way. The Agile movement has ignited a great deal of
interest among developers and directors alike since the Agile Manifesto
was first promulgated back in 2001. Behind all the hype and buzzwords,
however, lies true organisational transformation that is often very
difficult to achieve for some companies. Yet the benefits of transitioning
to Agile are tangible and far outweigh the hurdles passed along
the way.
This
course introduces the fundamental steps necessary for organisations
to transition to Agile in a meaningful manner, adopting whatever
agile methodology best fits their needs along the way.
For some companies, this might mean Scrum, and for others it may
mean Kanban or even a combination of two or more methodologies.
Regardless of the choice, there are key shared concepts that must
be adopted by these organisations in order to transform the way
they do work.
The course includes hands-on exercises and case studies to supplement
learning and facilitate decision-making.
