1. Get acquianted with the basics of Scrum. Read the Scrum Guide.

2. Register for the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course.

3. Attend the PSM course - 2 days.

4. Take the PSM I Assessment.

• At the completion of the course,and on full payment of your course fees, you will be given a code to sign up at the scrum.org website. This will enable you to access the section online where you can take the assessment.
• This is an 80 question assessment
• The assessment is done online at the scrum.org website
• You only need to dedicate about 1 hour continuously to take this exam online.
• Once you submit your answers online, it will take approximately 1 week for the results to be processed - these results are processed weekly.
• You will then get a certificate and be able to see your name on the certification list held by scrum.org.
• Fee : USD100.00
• From the time scrum.org contacts you to give you the link to the website where you can take the assessment for PSM I, you have 14 days from that date to take this exam.

5. Take the PSM II Assessment.

• Same process as above but longer test. You need to dedicate about 1 and a half hours to do the assessment online.
• The assessment is done online at the scrum.org website
• Once you submit your answers online, it will take approximately 1 week for the results to be processed - these results are processed weekly.
• You will then get a certificate and be able to see your name on the certification list held by scrum.org.
• Fee : USD500.00
• There is no time frame set for when you decide to take the PSM II test.
