THE ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE FORUM '09

The Forum will address the concerns, operational issues and hiccups that obstruct your EA journey. In doing so, we will examine :

• how other EA programmes are rolled out. The issues faced, the operational and strategic focus and its resulting impact.
• understand the EA value chain and how best to extract the best from your EA endeavour
• the proper governance of your EA programme in terms of structure, processes and alignment
• benchmarking against international standards and practices

The forum is very focused on addressing concerns of those who are tasked with making the EA programme a success. It is not intended for high level decision makers or the stakeholders so much as it is intended for the architects, the business planners and the domain leads who are working on the day to day operational initiatives to make their EA programme a viable and consistent success story.

In line with Flipside's approach to conferencing (what is conf2.0?), this Forum is designed to be highly interactive and geared towards two-way learning :-

• practitioner presentations. Two EA practitioners of long-standing will present on the EA programmes that they were involved in and discuss these programmes at length.
• keynote sessions. Two EA consultants share their ideas and experiences based on the assignments and consulting work they have undertaken over the years.
• a live interview. Highlighting key issues, again from a practitioner standpoint, this style brings a fascinating and interesting way of presenting the issues
• expert dialogue. All presenters gather to engage in dialogue and be available for questions
• facilitated roundtable. This initiative allows participants to bring their key issues to the fore, as they gather in roundtable brainstorming on key EA issues

These sessions are highly interactive and provide a fascinating approach to the conferencing experience. This new and fresh style is designed for you to gather and exchange their best ideas for change and move forward with one another.
